Anika Hartje

Anika Hartje has been dancing with Tony Williams Dance Center in Jamaica Plain for 15 years. She has performed in the Urban Nutcracker for 10 years and her most recent roles have been in Snow, Arabian, and Russian. She is currently a senior at the Winsor School in Boston, and works as an assistant dance teacher at TWDC on the weekend. 

Bring Us Your Women seeks to tell existing and re-imagined stories of historic and mythical individuals, each presenting a message of humanity that transcends gender and religion.The essence of this work expresses the power of three: unity, tolerance, hope.
