Isis
Resourcefulness - The gardian

Picture
In the first millennium BCE, Isis became one of the most widely worshipped of Egyptian deities, and absorbed traits from many other goddesses :  to protect the kingdom from its enemies, govern the skies and the natural world, and have power over fate itself.

Isis  was revered as the goddess of nature, she was the universal mother, and the chief goddess of magic. Her  name meant female of the throne. Isis was often illustrated with a headdress showing an empty throne suggestive of a husbands’ absence. She alone was the seat of the Pharaoh’s power.  ** notes from Nina Schiarizzi.
