Sirens
Prudence - The mystery
Their myth can be found in Europe, West Africa, and under other names in other continents.
We know them according to the legend as women - fishes but they were also defined in certain myths as women - birds. Sirens, of Greek mythology fame, were beautiful creatures (half human, half bird), but were also dangerous and devious. They lured sailors with their enticing voices and intoxicating music to the rocky coast of their island. They would then cause shipwrecks, or the sailors to jump to their deaths in the water. **Nina's notes Filmmaker: Sophia Cacciola, Michael J. Epstein Visual Art: Eoywn W.
